Off to a Write Start!

As we are in our third week of school, students have been very busy learning and growing in writing! We have been reviewing personal narratives in writing this week.  Students were working together to provide feedback on their stories today.  I am amazed at the creativity that is already taking place!  When we work together, we can achieve great things!

Wonderful World of Measurement

 
Now that we have started our unit on measurement, I need your help to remind me of a few things.  Could you tell me something that is about an inch, about a foot, and about a yard?  Looking forward to seeing your examples!

Our First Day of School

We had an amazing first day of school at DRE!  Not only did we reacquaint with old friends, but also met many new friends!  Everyone was excited and ready to be back at school.  We also had a very special treat- a visit from Channel 11 news.  I videotaped the segment on my iPad to share.  I wanted to make sure that everyone had the opportunity to see themselves on t.v. !  I am really looking forward to a wonderful year !  We are off to a wonderful start...
